Product Application
Trimellitic anhydride is primarily used to manufacture high-performance trimellitate plasticizers with excellent heat resistance, weather resistance and solvent resistance. The most widely used product is tri(2-ethylhexyl)trimellitate. It is also applied in synthesizing polyester resins and serving as a curing agent for epoxy resins.
