Methylene blue (61-73-4) industrial grade has a purity of no less than 99%. It is a flammable green crystalline powder that is odorless. Its melting point is 190℃ (decomposition), while boiling point and vapor pressure are not available. Relative density is 1.0 g/mL at 20℃. It dissolves in water at 40 g/L (20℃) and is also soluble in ethanol. The product is stable under normal conditions and should not be mixed with strong oxidizing agents.
