Product Application
Sodium percarbonate is an adduct formed by hydrogen peroxide and sodium carbonate, serving as a solid hydrogen peroxide supplier. It releases hydrogen peroxide when dissolved in water. As a white granular or powdery solid oxidizer, it is mainly used as a bleaching agent in cleaning products. Its other applications include algaecides, fungicides, chemical synthesis and environmental uses like odor control in waste treatment plants. A small quantity is used in denture cleaners and toothpaste.
It is a multifunctional reagent used for preparing optically active 4-hydroxy-2-isoxazolines.
