Description

Oleic acid (CAS 112-80-1) industrial grade purity ≥ 98%, appearing as colorless to pale yellow oily liquid with vegetable oil scent. Melting point 13.4℃, boiling point 360℃ (decomposes). Relative density 0.891 at 20℃, water solubility 0.003g/L at 25℃, miscible with ethanol, ether and most organic solvents. It is also a critical raw material for manufacturing epoxidized oleic acid ester, plasticizers and azelaic acid.
