Description

1,2-Diaminopropane is a colorless, highly hygroscopic liquid that mixes freely with water and most organic solvents. It forms azeotropic mixtures with butanol, 2-methylpropanol, and toluene, and emits a strong ammonia-like odor. It is a diamine compound derived from propane with amino groups attached at the 1 and 2 positions. Propylenediamine is frequently used as a bidentate ligand in the preparation of coordination complexes.1,2-Diaminopropane
