Description

Polycarbonate falls into the polyester polymer category, whose molecular chain is structured by crosslinking dihydric or polyhydric phenol monomers via carbonate bonding groups. Regular general-purpose polycarbonate is synthesized from 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane, commercially named Bisphenol A, possessing a stable and fixed repeating molecular structure.
