N-Methylpyrrolidone (NMP) is a polar aprotic solvent. It features low toxicity, high boiling point, and excellent solubility. It offers strong selectivity and high stability. It is widely used in aromatic extraction, acetylene purification, olefin and diene refining, solvents for polyvinylidene fluoride, lithium-ion battery electrode additives, syngas desulfurization, lubricant refining, lubricant antifreeze, olefin extractants, solvents for insoluble engineering plastic polymerization, agricultural herbicides, insulating materials, integrated circuit manufacturing, semiconductor precision instruments, circuit board cleaning, PVC tail gas recovery, cleaning agents, dye additives, dispersants, and more.
