Diisononyl phthalate (abbreviated as DINP) is a transparent oily liquid with a faint odor. It serves as a high-performance general-purpose primary plasticizer. It shows strong compatibility with PVC and does not separate out even at high addition levels. Its volatility, migration tendency, and toxicological profile are superior to DOP. It imparts excellent light stability, heat resistance, aging resistance, and electrical insulation to finished products, with overall performance exceeding that of DOP. Owing to its good water resistance, extraction resistance, low toxicity, aging resistance, and outstanding electrical insulation, DINP is widely used in flexible and rigid plastic products, toy films, and wire & cable
